I am a Product Designer with a background in digital marketing, SEO, and strong foundation in front-end development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).

Currently based in Toronto and designing impactful, data-driven, and user-centric solutions for the University of Calgary.

Hey there !

I’m Oyin, also known as Oyin Does Design (#ODD), a Product Designer who loves creating digital experiences that solve real business problems, keep users engaged, and drive results.

My design journey started with a passion for art, a fascination with human psychology, and a natural attention to detail, which led me to UI/UX and product design. With a Marketing degree from the University of Calgary, I began my career in digital marketing, where I developed skills in user research, analytics, and SEO.

Transitioning into product design felt like a natural next step, and since then, I’ve worked in fintech, education, and e-commerce. My background in front-end development and graphic design gives me a versatile skill set, allowing me to approach challenges creatively while staying focused on delivering effective solutions.

Outside of work, you’ll find me exploring new places, dancing to afrobeats, working on art commissions, reimagining spaces through interior design, enjoying great food, or powerlifting at the gym. These passions keep me inspired and fuel my creativity.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Data is King

Whether its user interviews, market research of platform analytics - data provides the context and information required to design effective and pragmatic solutions to user and business problems.

Accessibility For All

Great digital experiences are curated with everyone in mind. All users, regardless of ability, language, etc. should be able to access and enjoy their experience.

Collaboration is Key

Innovation and creativity thrive in diverse environments where team members are empowered to bring their expertise, skillset, and ideas to the table. Collaboration is the key to problem solving.

Focus on Delight

When the end user is happy, everything else follows.
